"Last night the wrestling team hosted Team Districts with Addison, Concord, and Vandercook Lake. Your Comets wrestled Vandy first and won in a dominating fashion 72-0. Wins came from AJ Lusby, Nathan Willett, Garrett Frost, Bristen Cekander, AJ Fielder, Maelyn Frost, Levi Bradley, Britain Kabil, Travis Kruger, Nick Thomas, Austyn Hocter and Reed Matthews. Addison beat Concord 60-6. In district finals, the Comets beat Addison 35-29. Winning their matches were AJ Lusby, AJ Fielder, Levi Bradley, Travis Kruger, Nick Thomas, Austyn Hocter and Reed Matthews. Your Comet wrestlers move onto the Regional match ups next Wednesday. Opponents and location are not known, yet. This weekend starts the individual post season. Saturday, the boys travel to Lumen and the girls head to Clinton on Sunday for individual districts.
